Imagine if John Lennon was not murdered.
Imagine how much more music he could have written and we could have heard.
I remember that December evening vividly.
I was still a student at #Kutztown. The news traveled pretty fast that night, and that was way before cell phones and #social media was invented.
Hundreds of students gathered in the DMZ around the fountain.
I can still picture everyone sitting around the fountain, on the grass.
Fellow students were crying, saddened, and in shock. John Tone was playing his guitar and someone else had a radio playing nearby.
I think it was the first murder I can remember since the Kennedy assassination.
John Lennon would have been 80 years old today if he wasn’t killed.
